We believe the first and most crucial step to achieving this is to build furnishings which will stand the test of time, physically and aesthetically. The materials' durability, the purity of the design, and the quality of craftsmanship are the three cardinal vertues of our furniture. The modus operandi of Kastella is to create pieces that will not go out of style and that their owners will be able to keep a lifetime- even pass on to future generations.
We use certified woods, hand rubbed oil finishes and low VOC lacquers to minimize the impact of our production on the environment. Production off-cuts are either recycled by a local energy provider or reused to create unique pieces, further reducing our waste contribution.
