L'Affichiste is Montreal's only vintage poster gallery. Solely dedicated to the sale of original posters from the 1880's to today, the gallery-boutique has over 2000 items in stock.
From oversize product posters (like the type you would see in restaurants,movie sets and stylized interiors of lifestyle and nesting publications), to smaller Art Deco labels and mini-posters (miniature gems with details and colors that mirror their larger cousins, at miniature prices!), the gallery is full of great (and affordable) gift ideas.
Located in a Victorian bank building which is graced with floor to ceiling windows, painted black floors and fabulous élan, the gallery provides an amazing backdrop for jaw-dropping art. Romantic Art Nouveau beauties, bold Art Deco travel posters, mid-century Modern masterpieces - each has pride of place at L'Affichiste.
The gallery is open every day of the week and is located in the heart of the antiques district on Montreal's Notre-Dame Street.
